His company Quick Angels Limited is the first institutionalized Angel Investor company contributing massively to the angel investment ecosystem in Ghana, supporting hundreds of startups and businesses through equity financing and supporting thousands of SMEs through his Credit Company in Ghana and Africa.

Mr. Quaye’s business which started 13 years ago in his native community ‘’Korle Gonno’ through innovation and unique technology has expanded to the length and breadth of the country and subsequently to other parts of Africa.
Quick Credit Ghana is the largest Non-Bank Credit Company in Ghana that can boast of a customer base of over 200,000 with a direct staff of over 1500.
Quick Credit has subsequently expanded to Eastern and Western African countries such as Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone Liberia, and Nigeria as Oya Credit.
Cumulatively Quick Credit Ghana and Oya Credit have over 300,000 customers with a staff strength of over 3000.
In a similar vein, his Angel Investment business, Quick Angels Limited, the only institutionalized Angel Investor Company in Ghana which started some 3 years ago has funded over 30 world-class brands with some crown jewels. Quick Angels and its associate brands also employ over 3000 staff.
They include Gold Coast food and spices -Sankofa Natural Spices, Pizzaman, Agatex paint, Chickenman, Ridge Medical Centre, Burger King, Dough Man Foods, and Coli Network Ghana Limited.
Lynx Entertainment, Alcilla (into tilapia), Benjie and Duke Rice, Sun solar (into salt production), and Tigon creative studios, to mention a few.
Mr. Richard Quaye is one of Ghana’s biggest business moguls supporting a lot of businesses and employing many.
He has won several awards among which include; an honorary, Ghana business leaders’ award for his contribution towards economic development, and following his outstanding commitment to remarkable business standards in the investment sector through demonstration of overall high standard service delivery and innovation, he was awarded Outstanding Business Leader of the year (Investment) and Outstanding Business Investor Award at the Ghana Business Standards Awards 2021.
In May 2021 he was named the outstanding financial service entrepreneur of the year and the outstanding CEO of the year at the 11th Ghana Entrepreneur &Corporate Executive Awards 2021.
His business Quick Credit in May 2021 also won the outstanding SME of the year at the Ghana West Africa Business Excellence Awards
In March 2021, he was appointed The Delegation for Ghana of the Global Chamber of Business Leaders.
Richard won the promising entrepreneur at Ghana Business Awards 2020, he also won the first amongst equals also termed the overall 40 under 40 awards, and defended the investment category award in 2020. Mr. Quaye was selected as part of the 50 young CEOs in Ghana by Avance media in 2020. He won the European CEO Entrepreneur of the year award 2020 organized by Global Business Outlook.
He also received an honorary award at the Young Entrepreneurs Awards 2020 for his massive support of startups in Ghana.
In 2019, he won the investment category 40 under 40 awards.
Richard got featured in ‘’those who inspire’’ a magazine endorsed by the President of Ghana to mentor the young generation in Ghana after careful analysis of his Business module and its impact so far on the younger generation by the team.
Due to his acumen, he has been invited twice to lecture at the Harvard School of Business on entrepreneurship.
Born and bred in Ghana, he grew up with a passion for Entrepreneurship and he is an Accountant by profession trained by ACCA.
